Thank you for taking time to show an interest in Ward Hi-Tech Limited. We would just like to take some time to explain our Privacy Policy as this is important to us. This policy lets you know how we process your information when you visit our website.

What information do we collect about you? We collect personal data about you including name and contact information through our website (website usage information is collected by using Cookies - see below), email subscription lists, at events, from a business card or if you are one of our customers i.e. if you have asked us to provide you with a quotation or placed and order with us.

Where you have placed an order with us for services we will require you to supply certain information in order that we can meet our contractual obligations to you and comply with our legal obligations to you, including health & safety and accounting obligations.

How do we use the information collected about you? We will use the information you provide in order to provide the services you have requested. Our lawful basis for processing personal data belonging to clients are:

a) to comply with our contractual obligations (i.e. provide the product/service, collect payment).

b) to comply with our legal obligations (including tax and revenue record keeping, health &    safety compliance.

c) in the event of any legal claims arising our of the services we provide.

d) our legitimate interests in relation to marketing activities relating to commercial contacts and clients.

We do not transfer personal data to countries outside the EU.

If you do make an enquiry or request a qutoation we will keep your information for as long as is necessary to answer the enquiry or supply the quotation and in the event that in future you decide to use our services.

If you place an order for our services we will keep your information for the duration of the services and in the event of any legal procedings. We may be required to a contact or by law to retain certain infromation e.g. for warranty information or health & safety information.

We may seek your consent to keep information relating to a project we have completed on your behalf for a period in order that we can use the information to demonstrate our competence and quality of our work to other interested parties.

We may use images of a project we have completed on your behalf for advertisement purposes but we will ensure that you or any other person cannot be identified from the images used.

We will continue to stay in touch when you are no longer an active customer as we believe you will benefit from up-dated information in case you want to order from us again or need our help with any issues.

Marketing

We may send marketing communcations to named individuals within a business where we consider our services may be of interest to that business. We will always give such individuals the right to opt out of receiving any further communications. We may monitor whether you open and/or click on any links in the email.  We do this to measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns and to tailor future campaigns to customers interest.

We will only send marketing communications to consumer contacts where they have consented to receiving such communications. Consumer contacts can revoke their consent at any time by contacting sales@wardhitech.co.uk

Correction Changes

Please notify us if any of the information we hold about you has changes or is incorrect, we will be happy to up-date this for you.
